Custom Logic S/4 Hana Public Cloud

Hello everyone,

I am developing some custom logic. My goal is to have the system send a payload to a specific endpoint in our in-house system whenever a Process Order is technically completed.

The payload should contain the following:

• Process Order: {Number}

• Status: {Completed}

Could anyone help me with this?

Thank you for your question.

You can achieve the desired scenario by using In-App Extensibility in combination with Outbound Communications through the communication scenarios.

Please note that direct HTTP calls to external endpoints are not supported inside ABAP custom logic in public cloud. Instead best practice is to define your custom comms scenario, register your inhouse endpoint as a comms system and arrangement and then call the released HTTP remote API.
