Custom ITS Service not working after EHP7 Upgrade

Hi Team,

Please note that after EHP7 upgrade our custom ITS Services are not working. We are ending up in "500 internal server issue". Below are our release details. Could you please suggest any approach to check the issue.

SAP_BASIS - 740

WEBUIF - 747

Kernel Level - 753

what you mean with custom ITS !? hopefully you copied the standard .. Is the standard ITS working?

meanwhile check if note 2721617note is applicable for your KB component level

also check note 2755871 on how to activate further trace on those 500 errors

Thanks for the response. All ITS servcies under in SICF transaction (Including Standard one's) are not working.

Error Log: ERROR => IcmReadFromPartner(id=0/42): No data from server received, role: Server, (rc=MPI_EBROKEN: pipe broken/canceled/7) [icxxthrio.c 2858]

As per the SAP note #2733879 - ICM: ERROR => IcmReadFromPartner(id=<nr>): No data from server received. We have upgrade the kernel level to higher level but faced the same issue.

that error log is not really explanatory unfortunately

I think you were already on the right path with note 2733879 but that didn't imply to change the kernel (although it never hurts )

I think something happened through out the upgrade and not related to the abap stack, were those services working before? did you change any infrastructure pieces during the upgrade time? did you reboot the machine? is everything else working including other services?

Yes, services are working fine before EHP7 upgrade. No infra changes and rebooted the machine.

Error log from dev_disp:

DpHdlSoftCancel: delete in progress for T19_U350_M0, ignore cancel request from ICMAN (reason=DP_SOFTCANCEL_ICM_CONNECTION_CLOSED)
