Custom field to template upload general journal template

Hi All,

I am trying to add custom field to the template in Upload General Journal Entries (F2548)

I tried 2 approaches

1. Added Custom field (ZZBOLTS) in Coding Block Structure (CI_COBL) and enabled in SCFD_EUI.

I dont see this custom field in Custom fields and logic app either.

When I tried to open the app Upload General Journal Entries, I get the message UX_FC_ZZBOLTS of data object 'FinsPostingGLItem' has no Internal type assigned.

2. Added field (ZZ_BOLTS1) in Custom Fields and logic application with Business Contect Accounting: Journal Enty Item, Enabled the ODATA API's and SOAP API's and UI's and Reports but still i dont get this in app Upload General Journal Entries.

Kindly help in proceeding further.

i am currently facing the same issue described, but with a different Field.

How did you resolve this?

I can't find a SEGW Project for this Service to check for the Entity...

Also I did not implement the Field. So i dont know what exactly caused it.

I recommend you to try the second approach using the Business Context "Coding Block" instead of "Journal Entry Item" as per the following documentation:
