We are migrating our current SAP BO 4.2 SP7 Platform to 4.3 SP4.
On of the critical points to test is the behaviour of the custom elements in use.
After migration to 4.3 SP4 we have noticed that they are not displayed in the webi intelligence documents.
When opening dev tools console on the browser a meaningfull error message appears
VisualizationViewer.js?eval:1
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xxxxx/BOE/BI/logonNoSso.jsp' was loaded over HTTPS,
but requested an insecure frame
'http://xxxxx/BOE/portal/2410111317/biprwsproxy/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/30023/occurrences/0/repo...
This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Issue Explanation looks clear. Our environments (previously 4.2 and now 4.3) does always use SSL encryption (HTTPS). Encryption is managed by a F5 Load Balancer (all http requests are converted into https)
In 4.2 there was no problem with it using Custom Elements, but on the 4.3 it looks like that on the background some process (VisualizationViewer.js) is trying to open a HTTP connection instead of a HTTPS one. The FQDN is well defined but the protocol used should be HTTPS instead of HTTP since chrome does not allow to mix SSL and non-SSL content in a same page.
Has anyone noticed a similar issue and has been able to manage it?
Thjx
