Hi experts,
We have deployed applications running on multiple BTP CF subaccount that use centralised Custom Domain service. The service resides in EU20 landscape as well as other subaccounts. Usually we share the custom domain to subaccounts via the "cf share-private-domain" command. But recently SAP has started issuing new subaccounts with new landscape "eu20-001", making it impossible to share the custom domain to a subaccount with new landscape. Is it possible to share custom domain to a different landscape at all?
Thanks in advance!

Hi kasekretov,
yes, this is possible in the meantime - at least from what I can see in my Custom Domain User Interface. Please check the respective documentation to learn how to initiate the Custom Domain Handover in case of extension landscapes.

Please note, the other subaccount must reside in the same Global Account.
Best,
Martin

Hi kasekretov,
I believe this is not really a question for the community. The solution must come from SAP directly/officially.
You must open a ticket on SAP support channels in order to get a solution to this problem.
The documentation states that the command 'cf share-private-domain' should only work while the ORG is on the same region - which logically it is (you never left the region eu02). However, technically you are using a different region, since 'eu02-001' is not equal to 'eu02'. Hence, I believe SAP support should give you the correct path moving forward with your BTP requirements.
Best regards,
Ivan
