Custom data against SFC in SAP DM

Hi Experts,

is there any way to bind custom data against SFC,

use case - we need to maintain the vendor custom number with SFC number so is there any way we can maintain the custom data tags against SFC. 

can anyone please help us that how we can overcome this challenge to in SAP DM.

Hi Ankit,

Unfortunately, as of today, the ability to insert custom fields at the SFC level has not yet been released.

However, I invite you to follow the SAP portal where you can suggest new features. Specifically, your request has already been added to the release list: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/320902.

I am assuming that you have more SFCs inside an order and each SFC has its vendor number.
To temporarily resolve the issue, I suggest creating dynamic data collection where you can link the object (vendor custom number) to the SFC.

Data Collections: Create a new DC Group with the name of your SFC and one parameter, "VENDORNUMBER," that is common across all data collection groups (names of other SFCs). You can create it dynamically during IDOC creation or set a trigger after the shop order release. With the new released SFC, you can create the data collection and attach the parameter (VENDORNUMBER). Then, fill the DC group with the vendor number (manually or automatically, based on the requirements).
