Can I create custom cards in Cloud ALM Project set up? I need to create reports like Open Tasks by Users for example

Hi,

Currently SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation doesn't offer the ability to create custom cards or reports. Instead, we offer a suite of pre-built cards and reports which have filtering options.

Your query is "how to create a report to show Open Tasks by Users". That data can be shown by accessing the Task Distribution child app of the Analytics app. The Analytics app can be accessed in the Implementation tab of SAP Cloud ALM. There are also other useful Task related child apps, like Task Trend Analysis.

Please note, these apps offer no export/output option for their graphics.. They are designed to be used as part of the project management workflow within SAP Cloud ALM itself. Currently if you need to extract a graphic from the apps to use elsewhere, you will need to take a screen shot. If you wish to request this functionality, please create a request in the SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation Customer Influence Campaign.

If you wish to use other tools/software to create custom dashboards or reports (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud), SAP Cloud ALM offers several Pull APIs so that data can be extracted for this purpose. The full list of Pull APIs are documented in the API Guide for SAP Cloud ALM section API Reference. This includes a Task API.
