I just downloaded the 30 day trial of crystal reports. I have been completely unable to install it. I downloaded it a couple times to make sure, tried a couple different computers. I get the same error every time: "Runtime Error! Program: <path>. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Has anybody else had this problem?
Or has anybody else actually been able to install the trial version?

Hi awhogan,
I saw in your question that you were trying to install Crystal Reports 20011 software.
Could you please specify your environment details of your system. I mean your operating system like window XP/ windws 7 etc, and your Ram size.
Is there any error message geting on the screen, while it crasing the application?
Regards,
Naga.

The error messages above come from a Windows 7 box with 2 gigs of ram. I got the same error message from a Win 2k box with 8 gigs of ram, though.
The error that makes it to the screen is:
"Runtime Error! Program: <path>.
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
