Crystal Reports text clipping issue. PDF created by Business Obj on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Hi,

We use Crystal reports 2016 sp 5 designer in Windows; PDF created/rendered by BusObj on RHEL; and then PDF viewed on Windows. How can we better ensure that reports use the same font throughout the process?

Is it ok to use Times New Roman from Windows on RHEL? How do we ensure that BusObj uses it? Any configuration is required?

What fonts and configuration are suggested to have on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), to have best/maximum compatibility and avoid text clipping.

Is there a list of safer fonts to use in Designer? How to configure BusObj and RHEL to use a good substitute for Times New Roman?

Our main concern is clipping of text content.

We are using SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2
Support Pack 4
Version: 14.2.4.2410.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Ricardo

CR doesn't install fonts so you have to install the font you want to use on the OS it's running on, check Red Hat help for more info on how to install various fonts.

See this for registry keys to create for text clipping, same keys are used in BOE/CR Server:
