Crystal Reports Server 2013 Client Tools?

Hi all,

If I already have Crystal Reports 2013 installed on my local machine do I still need install the client tools for SAP Crystal Server 2013 on my local machine?

What is the purpose of of the Crystal Reports Server 2013 Client Tools?

Hi Chirs,

Not really, but you might require other client tools like  BVM(Business View Manager) etc which allows you to create DCP(Dynamic promts ) and re-use them .

So, its totally your call if you want them installed or not .

Thanks for your reply Ritesh. Both of those features are already installed as part of my BI4.1 client tools installation so it doesn't look like I need to install the Crystal Server client tools on my local machine.
