I use Crystal Report Version 8.5 in our program, which incorporates several reports designed with Crystal Reports. The issue we encounter is that many clients experience significant delays (more than 1 minute) when attempting to open simple forms or print reports using Crystal Report Viewer over remote desktop sessions.
I have thoroughly tested all aspects, confirming that the data connection is working correctly. When printing reports directly without using Crystal Report Viewer, the process is fast. The problem specifically arises when utilizing the Crystal Report Viewer during remote desktop sessions. Interestingly, when connecting via TeamViewer, everything functions correctly.
In troubleshooting, I have verified that the access list of the folder grants full control to everyone, and I've disabled antivirus software, but this did not resolve the issue. Our clients operate on various versions of Windows Server with different antivirus programs. Despite researching online, I found a blog post suggesting a potential issue with group policies, but upon inspection, everything appears to be in order.
It's worth noting that I've organized the Crystal Report Viewer DLL file in a separate folder where it is installed alongside our program.
I seek assistance in identifying and resolving the performance slowdown issue when using Crystal Report Viewer over remote desktop sessions.
