I am trying to display data in my report from left to right and I can use the subreports and list the subreports side-by-side to show the data horizontally. The trouble is, I would have to use too many subreports, which will slow down the report.
Someone suggested using the "Down and Across" function in the report and when I could try using the function, but how do I separate the group header and display it horizontally? For example:
<Group Header> <Group Header> <Group Header>
Data Data Data
....

Hi Kenshin,
Here's what you could do:
1. Insert a Group Footer 1b section (you could use the existing group footer too).
2. Reduce its height and make it as thin as possible. Don't suppress this section
3. Go to the section expert > highlight this group footer section > check "Print at bottom of page"
This should force the next group to start in a new column.

Another option is to use a CrossTab.

If you search for "Multiple Columns" in the Crystal Help, you can find an entry called "To create a multiple-column report" that has the information you need for configuring this. In the "Layout" tab that appears in the Section Expert when you do this, there is an option to "Format group with multiple column" that might get you what you're looking for.
