Crystal Reports 2020 - Drawing Object Fill Color missing

I have installed Crystal Reports 2020 (64-bit) full normal installation. I am using the Drawing Object with a formula to dynamically change the Fill Color based on a column in the table. When producing a PDF, the Fill Color disappears in all instances on every page. When reviewing in Crystal all the Fill Colors show as expected.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

I changed the tag on your question to "SAP Crystal Reports", which is the tag for questions about report design and working with the Crystal Reports desktop software.

The "SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio" tag that you used is for questions about the Crystal .NET SDK.

Below is an image of how I am creating the formula. I've tried with the crAqua and crGreen, and neither Color() or the 'cr' format works.

In the File > Report Options dialogue, ensure that you check the Retain Original Image Color Depth option. In the File > Options > Reporting tab there's a similar global option that you might want to check as well, for when you create new reports.

Returning back to this issue. I've set both Options above to "checked" and the result is the same, no dynamic color assignments.
