Crystal Reports 2011: Transporting CR Reports based on ECC table/FM

Hi all,

I'm using Crystal Reports 2011 based on ECC Table/function module. And I need to transport the reports from development system to production system.

Is there an option to transport without changing the report? Without using the option "Database > Set Datasource Location"?

Is there an option in BO 4.0 Console?

Hi silva,

You have three database like DEV, Quality,Prod or only one database.

if you have three database and initially you need point to DEV and after move the report quality and it automatically change the database quality means it is not possible.

Because crystal report will save the connection details also when save the report in BO environment.

SO if you need to migrate the environment regarding crystal report wise you must and should change the set data source location.

There is no such option in BI 4.0 Console. but there are some third party tools are there to change all reports datasource at a time. i think this BO server side. So if you have any question you can post  to this thread in this link.BI Platform
