Creation of Node under Local Node.

When we are deploying webdynproApllications to portal by default Applications will be deployed under

Local Node.Instead of that i want to create another Node(ex:Welcome) under Local and i want to deploy applications in that Node.

Pls anybody suggest me to solve this pblm.

Dear Subash,

When you are deploying an application to portal where multiple instances(server nodes) are there ,in that scenario the application will be deployed on the three nodes.So three of them will have the same copy of the application.

When you are adding a new node to the existing node , in that case while creation of the node it will take all the content which ever basic node is having.So that the three nodes will be in sink.It is not needed to deploy the Webdynpro applications again to portal when you are creating a new node.
