creating folders for users

Hi,

I observed that a folder (by user name and some subfolders in it eg: favourites) in the KM content is created for every user under the userhome folder.

Is there any way i can insist the system to create another folder "xyz" as a sub folder along with favourites, personal documents etc. to every user when ever a user is crerated.

Hello,

Please try the following: (We are using EP7).

1) Login to the portal as an administrator.

2) go to “System Admin” > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Content Management> Repository Filter

3) Here you may have to click on "Show Advanced Options"

4) Click on "UserHome Filter"

The definition of this filter is the following: "The filter creates subfolder underneath a users home directory from the given urls. "

So, I think you can use this filter to resolve your issue.
