Hi
I hope someone can give me the trick working with teams in SAP Cloud ALM. In the tenant we are using, it is not possible to create and assign teams to be used in the different project.
It looks like a team given the name " Finance team" can only exist one in the tenant and are assigned to the project it was created under.
This gives a problem when the "Finance team" also should be assigned to another project. It is not possible to create it (gives an error stating that the "finance team" already exists, but cannot be used in the other project. See the attached image.
Hope someone can give me a hint of how to use the same teams across projects.

Hi Kjell,
You are right, you cannot reuse a team name in another project. The reason is exactly what you would like to do. We have the aim to reuse teams cross project and to have a more simple consolidation we already check the name so at the end we can simple merge all teams and they are unique by name.
This is planned, currently I cannot mention a date.
What you can do, create a variant like "Team Finance" and "Finance Team".
When we have the function in place you can select the "other" team for your project and do a replace using the mass edit function, per application.
Best Regards,
Udo

Hi Amo
The problem is that if a Finance team is created in one project, I'm unable to assign the Finance team to another project. It is not visible you you create a new project. If you look into the attached screenshot, the only team possible to use is the PMO team.
Even that there is a Finance team create for another project, it's not possible to use it in the actual project and it's not possible to create a new Finance team. It's a catch 22 situation.
