Create Alternate GL Hierarchies in SAP Analytics Cloud

I have been asked by team members to create some alternate hierarchies within our GL Account dimension.  For example, let's say we have a hierarchy node that includes GL Accounts 100001, 100002, 100003.  Can I create an alternate node that includes just 100001 and 100002 and excludes 100003?  For the time being I have created an alternate hierarchy that sits next to our standard hierarchy (see below) but it would be much more convenient if I could do it all within the same hierarchy so the teams didn't have to switch hierarchies when reporting or looking at data.

Within what below is called "Account Hierarchy" I can create the node that is needed but I can't duplicate where the base GL Accounts roll up to.  This was easy to do in BPC and wanted to see if it was possible in SAP Analytics Cloud?

You will need alternate hierarchies only. There is no way you can rollup the same base member to 2 different nodes within a single hierarchy.

On a side note, If I remember correctly this behavior is same in BPC standard so not sure how was this easy in BPC. In BPC 1 leaf member could rollup to a single node in PARENTH1 column.

Thank you for confirming. As for the BPC comment, I was admittedly not part of the admin side at my old company so I could be getting something wrong but we used to be able to ask for alternative hierarchy nodes that were similar to existing ones but would include or exclude certain items. The team would create this new node and we would see it within our account hierarchy. I suppose they had to be in separate total rollups with unique roots but they could be used within the same reporting assuming you used the correct ID.
