Hi, All
I want to create a Regression Testing (RT) package in Cloud ALM. When I go to the "Test Preparation" in Cloud ALM, I need to create my test cases in a project, however this is not what I want.
I want to have am RT package, global, with all my test scripts and then, when I have an specific project, I select from this RT package what I want to test in that package.
Does anyone know if it is possible to do what I want in Cloud ALM?
If it is not possible, Could you recommend how to do this with Cloud ALM?
Thanks
Manuel

Hi, Manuelli,
I see your question is remaining unanswered here, so I will attempt to reply with answer here.
Project is required....you cannot create test cases without a connection to a project in Cloud ALM.
When you want to use a test case with another project, you have the ability to 'download' the project:
and then you can navigate the new Project, you can upload this (browse to the downloaded file from above) and it will import and display in the new project's assigned test cases:
I hope this closes the loop for you.
Best regards,
Paula

Hi Manuel,
Please kindly use Test Plan for your regression test package.

Thank, Williams.
My question is how to decouple my test package from projects.
I would like to have a test package with all my test cases for my process hierarchy and then when I have a project, I create a test plan for that project.
But I do not see how I can have my test package without being linked to a project.
If I create a test plan for a project, what does it happen when I have a new project? do I need to create from scratch?
Thanks
Manuel
