I need the employee count for each of the employees in the emp master data, by referring to another transaction view (last 2 column above..3rd column in the employee no in the transaction cal view) where each employee has attended trainings. Employee no in the transaction view can be multiple where as in master data employee no is unique.

How to achieve in the calculated column ? I want the result row in 2nd column stamped in the Master data of employee. First 2 columns are the employee cal view. Result row in green need to be created new.

I have 2 views for emp master data 1st column and transaction file 3rd & 4th column in yellow above. Do we need to join these 2 to get the result or just a lookup on the transaction file ( training file) to get the result column. (In green. )

I am getting less no of records for each Employee. As all of the employees might not have a transaction and we need to report on each employee which does not have a training record...which is like employees with a zero values. I am unable to get those in the emp view after your advise. Does that make sense.

Try creating calculated column with count operation on employee no column at aggregation node using your right transaction table on employee number. Use that graphical view in another calculation view where you join master data of employee with newly created graphical view where you have employee and calculated column

Did you try creating a "counter" at aggregation node under calculated columns ?
