Whenever Equipment is created with Equipment category “S” and “P”, the class and characteristics must be copied from the material to the newly created equipment.
On analysis we have found that this can be achieved through Customer Exit "Enhancement - IEQM0003Component - EXIT_SAPMIEQ0_001 " and we were unable to find a suitable BADI. As Customer Exit falls under Tier 3 of clean core approach, wanted to check if there an alternative way to achieve the functionality.
