Convert Data from One System to SAP

Requirement: - Convert a 25 char field to 16 char field and vise versa, System on one end is SAP and on the other end might be legacy system (mainframe)/WEB/ open system.

Please let me know if any tools are available to fulfill the above requirement.

Hi,

There are different systems in different regions which interact with each other.

now due to business requirement Asia Pacific region is going on SAP but there is some time for other region to convert to SAP and in SAP the field length is 25 and in the othe NON-SAP application field length is 16 so need to identify if any tools or data convertor or some thing like message broker are available in market.

What is the logic in reducing the size.

We have truncate option to cut the fields. but this have a data loss.

Please ellaborate the requirement.
