Hi Experts,

In my project we have to convert the BPS planning folder into Web GUI. After this we have to display the contents of Web GUI into SAP Enterprise Portal.

Can you please let me know how I can convert BPS planning folders into Web GUI?

The first screen to be converted has following attributes:

No of variables No of functions No of layouts

2 4 1

Can you please let me know how to go about it? I am totally new for BPS and conversion of BPS planning folders into Web GUI. I have heard that bps_wb and bps0 are the transaction codes to be used for this purpose.

Regards,

Stuart

Hi,

Follow below steps:

1. If existing planning folder is not web-enabled it must be copied into web-enabled planning folder. This copies all the attributes in new planning folder.

2. Web interface needs to be generated for web-enabled planning folder. For this follow these steps:

a.Call transaction UPSPM.

b.Select a Web-enabled planning folder

c.Select Menu option GOTO --> Generate Web Interface

d.Enter the name of Web Application and the package on next screen and click on Execute button.

e.Call transaction BPS_WB and open the newly created Web Interface in step d.

The web interface must be re-generated in BPS_WB before you can execute the interface, it can also be modified in Web Interface builder (BPS_WB).

All the manual layouts are displayed as ALV layouts by default in Web Interface. To display Excel layouts in Web Interface, the property Excel Web Component in Web Interface for the layout must be set to True.

Please grant the points if it solves your purpose.

Deepti
