Hi community,
I am currently trying to connect a SAP SCM BCS Business Consolidation (SEM BCS) to SAP Datasphere
Is this possible analogue to a BW System? Which connector can I use and are there any critical prerequisits I need to consider?
In https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-sap/sap-datasphere-sap-bw-bridge-overview-and-techn... is just mentioned, that the SAP BW Bridge is not an option.
thank you in advance,

BW Bridge is "not an option" from the perspective that you cannot use the BW Bridge conversion tools to convert a BW system running SEM-BCS to BW Bridge.
However, you can source data from BW systems into Datasphere using at least two mechanisms:
1. the BW Adapter for DP Agent (just the ABAP Adapter) ... you can read any infoprovider on the BW system as a source (queries as infoprovider have a number of restrictions which apply -- there are a number of BEx functions not supported for query as infoprovider)
2. Replication flows can also read BW systems for data.
in the SEM-BCS documentation here it describes how to set up "BI queries" (BW or BEx queries) against BCS outputs. Assuming those don't violate query-as-infoprovider rules, you should then be able to use those as a basis of extraction to Datasphere ... or the base Infoproviders provided BCS (Replication Flow cannot read cubes so they'd have to be DSOs.)
YMMV ... I've not tried this, just piecing together documentation.
