Connection between SAP R/3 and Datasphere

What is the connection type to be used to setup connection between SAP R/3 and Datasphere?

Any additional infrastructure required to setup the connections?

What kind of integrations or replications possible between R/3 and Datasphere?

No documentation available online or sap help. Please advise if any one has tried.

The Datasphere to ECC extractions mainly utilize the DMIS component.

Hi Lothar, SAP help doesn't have any details on SAP R/3. That was the precheck performed before posting it here. If you have any details on R/3, please share. Thaks
