We are currently in the process of transitioning from the Smart Connector to SAP Integration Suite for integrating with Microsoft Dynamics GP. Previously, the Smart Connector facilitated seamless data exchange, but we are now looking for a more scalable and modern integration approach using SAP’s cloud capabilities.
Additionally, our invoices are managed in SAP Ariba, and we were using the Smart Connector to integrate SAP Ariba with Dynamics GP. As part of this transition, we also need to establish a reliable integration between SAP Ariba and Dynamics GP using SAP Integration Suite.
Key Considerations:
Efficiently replacing Smart Connector’s functionalities within Integration Suite.
Handling real-time or batch data synchronization between SAP, SAP Ariba, and Dynamics GP.
Best practices for authentication, data transformation, and error handling.
Leveraging APIs, event-driven architecture, or middleware for smooth communication.
Ensuring seamless invoice data transfer between SAP Ariba and Dynamics GP.
Questions for the Community:
Is SAP Integration Suite the best option for this migration, or are there alternative approaches we should consider?
Has anyone implemented a similar integration, and if so, what were the key challenges and solutions?
Are there any pre-built connectors, adapters, or accelerators available to simplify this transition?
