Hello
I have a question for configuring Central ATC check system for our SAP S/4HANA 2023 systems.
First a bit of background for our requirement:
We have a dual S/4hana landscape one for Production Support(BAU changes) and one for Project Development work.
Our current dual S/4HANA landscape consist of the following:
BAU Dev(PSD) -> BAU Quality(PSQ) -> Pre-Prod(PRE) -> Production(PRD)
&
Project Dev(DEV) -> Project Quality(QAS) -> Pre-Prod(PRE) -> Production(PRD)
We have configured ChaRM with retrofit in our Solution Manager system 7.2 SP14.
We are looking into using enhanced retrofit s/4hana check for retrofitting changes from source system BAU Dev(PSD) on SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS00(lower release) into target system Project Dev(DEV) on SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS01(higher release) as per the SAP Note 2504773
https://me.sap.com/notes/2504773
Once of the prerequisite for retrofitting changes between systems on different release or support package level is to have a Central ATC system(ATC hub) configured and connect the Solution manager system to the ATC hub, see below sap help link for more information.
So my question is whether can we use our existing Project Quality(QAS) system and configure it as an Central ATC system(ATC HUB) and connect both the development systems to ATC hub Project Quality(QAS) system and connect Solman to ATC hub and use the cross release checks for s/4hana for retrofitting?
We do not have a sandbox system in our landscape, so can we use our existing quality system as Central ATC system for this purpose?
@OlgaDolinskajaand @DoloresCorreayour views would be appreciated here.
Thanks & Regards,
Sharyu

Hello Sharyu,
yes, this is possible.
There are 3 options for the ATC Hub placement:
