Configuring SSO between SAP ABAP and Third party application using SAML

Hello All,

Need your help on the below requirement.

User will login into the Non-sap portal by using ISAM Enterprise for authentication. Once the users logged in , they will click a new application called MMS. New page will open for MMS application , once the user saves this application , it has connect to the SAP ABAP system to update the values.

To acheive this , we planned to use SAML2 approach to do the SSO between MMS application and backend SAP ABAP system.

For this scenario , we are using ISAM Enterprise (IBM) as an Identity provider and the SAP ABAP as a Service provider. Initial configuration and metadata exchange was done. We planned that Service provider will send the SAP Logon Ticket for doing the authentication between MMS and ABAP system.

I would like to know how we can achieve this scenario and as of now if we initiate the SAML request from Idp , it goes to SP and I am getting "No default application path is configured for ACS endpoint". I know that if i give any application url (/sap/) in default path it will open that service. but what i need is that it has to send the SAML response with SAP logon ticket to the MMS Portal.

Or is there any other approach by using SAML2 we can achieve it and also I wanted to know where we can provide the Third party url for redirection.

Kindly throw some lights on this issue.
