Hi Tariq,

It looks like the connection user for Wily EM in the solman_setup is missing.

Please follow the steps below :

  1. Select a CA Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager.
  2. Choose the User Management button. A dialog box appears.
  3. Assign the user which is to be used to connect the CA Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager to SAP Solution Manager, For example : Admin
  4. Enter the password of the administration user.
  5. Choose OK.

Make sure that the above settings are saved.

Hope this helps.

Thanks & Regards,

Nisha

Tariq,

First of all I'll have to recommend you to update to latest SP11 of Solution Manager.

There has been major improvements and new innovations since SP8, as part of "two value releases per year" strategy.

Here's the summary:

As for your query, Nisha's post is exactly what you need.

Hello Vikram,

Thanks for your suggestions, I have reviewed 1868086 we are already exceeding the patch levels.

Also restarting the Diag Agent has not helped.

Hi Tariq,

Please restart the Diagnostics Agent on the host where the Introscope Enterprise Manager is installed. Then please try again to configure Introscope in the step 3.1.

One of the user fixed the issue by:

I was able to resolve this issue.  I had been trying to setup the connection with Admin userid.  I was finally able to connect with Guest.  I also figured out that I had to use the SAVE button to complete the configuration so it would be saved to the LMDB before hitting the refresh button.

Check  if this can help.

Thanks
