I would like to know if SAP Datasphere can be integrated with SAP ECC version 6.0 EHP 5

It is possible, but if you need to use ECC 6.0 as the source, it is recommended to use BW Bridge. Since CDS views are not supported, data extraction relies solely on BCT sources, and most major sources do not have primary keys (PK), which can lead to issues with delta extraction.
In the case of S/4HANA, delta can be handled perfectly using CDS views, so there is no need to use BW Bridge.
