Hi,

I have one data set (orders) and need to combine the same data from two different universes (shipment, master shipment) but many of the columns are the same in the second two. how do i merge the results from each shipment child and master child into one column ?

It would help to have a sample of object names from each data provider cubes and how they relate to each other, but I'll attempt to answer.

In your report, you will need to MERGE the dimension objects that you would use to join the cubes.  Multiselect each object pairing, right-click, and merge.  Use these merged dimension objects in your report table instead of the dimensions from each cube.

All other objects that you wish to include in the report table, will need to be defined as measures or details.  If they are dimensions, then create a variable of type detail that is dependent on one of the merged dimensions and use the variable in your report table.

Hopefully, I guessed your issue correctly and explained this well enough.

Merry Christmas
