Hi Experts ,

We want to create bank data of existing BP .

We use EML: I_ BUSINESSPARTNERTP_ 3-\_ Businesspartnerbank .

On the test cases, this scenario said this can be done. But when I tested with his testing code, I found that I couldn't enter the BP number. If I entered an existing BP number, he would prompt that it already exists .

May I ask if there is any problem with this method? Is there a new method for me to create new bank data for existing BP？

Hi @frankyangm,

I suppose you tried to work with the entire content of the Knowledge Transfer Document that you shared. However, you may need to work with "Update" operation for the BusinessPartner and "Create" only for the Bank segment of that business partner. 

Also, I wonder about the context of your question: To update Business Partner Master Data programmatically we'd want you to use the released and published APIs. Id this for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition? If so, please have a look at the SAP Business Accelerator Hub at Business Accelerator Hub / SAP S4HANA Cloud Public Edition and navigate to API, OData V2, and find the Business Partner API. From there, look for the bank segment with its POST and PATCH methods, SAP Business Accelerator Hub / SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition / Business Partner / Bank Segment.
