Hi,
Anyone aware of an easy way to find information about type and version of the CMS Database?
We would like to perform a query or check a file to obtain this information from a number of BI installations, whether it's SQL Anywhere, DB2 etc.
Kind Regards

Hi ,
There is one more way to confim which type of database is being used by SAP BI -
Navigate to the location - C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64
Open "***.dbinfo" file in notepad editor.
You can find CMS database details there.

Hi Sveinung,
You can check this information in CMC->Settings. Here you would find the CMS and Audit DB details.
Later you can check the DSN of these DBs on the BO server.
