Dear experts,

Could you help me with the steps to create and manage user for CI-DS?

I am aware that it requires an S-user, which is already handled, but I am not aware of the further steps to add a user and provide access to CI-DS.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the detailed information for Creation/Managing a User in CI DS

Security Administrators can add users to the system, activate them, and for standard users assign roles to them.

You can notify new users that they have been made active in the system by clicking Send Activation Email within each new user's profile.

Control access to SAP Cloud Integration for data services functionality by assigning roles to your standard users.

After the Security Administrator creates a user within SAP Cloud Integration for data services, an account activation email is automatically sent from SAP Cloud Identity Service to the new user. If the user has an existing SAP Cloud Identity Service account, then those credentials are used.

After activating the SAP Cloud Identity Service account, the user can log into SAP Cloud Integration for data services in one of the following ways:

  • user credentials (email and password)
  • browser-based certificate

The certificate is issued by SAP for SAP web applications and must be imported to the browser.

For Detailed information about this you can check the SAP Help documentation
