Hi,
after adding a new field into a saved and activated infocube, how do you change the order in which they are represented in the transformation?
Bellow is the BI-Content cube 0QM_C10, to which I added the 0CALQUART1 and 0CALMONTH2 infoobjects. The new fields are in the Time dimension.
However, the newly added InfoObjects are just added to the bottom of the list in the transformation. Changing the order of InfoObjecst in a DSO/InfoSource has an effect on the order of how these fields are shown in a transformation. Not so in an Infocube, where new fields are just added to the bottom of the list.
Any way of doing this?
Thank you! 😊

Hello @jbreznar
it does not matter where in the transformation the fields are shown, it only matters in which dimension you put the fields into ... this can affect the performance (how big the dimension tables can grow).
In an Infocube all characteristics are automatically key fields and they are regularily put at the end of the list.
Don't care about where they are shown in the transformation.

Hello @MKreitlein,
you are correct about it not being all that important, it was just bugging me that it doesn't look as neat as it could.
Thank you anyways for answering!

As long as the data hasn't been loaded to the DSO or Cube, you can drag the field(s) to where you want them to be.
If the data in already added, you must delete the data, adjust the fields and then load the data back. OR if the data can not be deleted, you can accomplish this task by "remodelling" tool.
