Changing field from NUMC6 to dec 2

I changed a table field with domain numc6 to decimal type with size 6 and decimal 2:

I ran Se14 preserving the data and transported it to Quality .Now when I go to se14 in quality I get the message:

If i click in 'Continue adjustment' button then  i receive dump :

Does anyone know how to resolve the error without losing table data?

REASON: the problem is that for instance 314314 cannot be stored in DEC 6.2, as its biggest possible value is 9999.99, you should have defined DEC 9.2 because the first digit must be odd as per PACK logic to store a value up to 9999999.99. If you want to store 314314 as 3143.14, you must create a conversion program.

You may ask the administrator to do a backup of the QCM<yourtable> table, it's the original table, just in case you do an error.

For information, the database adjustment renames the table <table> into QCM<table>, creates the table QCM8<table> with the new definition, copies the data from QCM<table> to QCM8<table> with conversion for the changed columns, and then renames QCM8<table> into <table> (if everything is fine).
