Hi everyone
Is it possible to initially start SAC with my own HTML page (Like an intranet page) or highly customize the Home Screen (like in a story)?
if not, would it be possible that when a specific SAC Team starts SAC, a certian Diagrams/Numeric points will already be pinned to the Home screen according to my customization? (And other SAC Teams would see different pinned Diagrams)
I am aware of the Administration settings for the Default Appearance to change the Logo and add or remove tiles, but what I am searching for is either customizing the Home screen according to specific teams or adding my own Home Screen.
I appreciate any suggestions or ideas that could bring me to the solution.
Kind regards,
Feras

Hi Feras,
Unfortunately, SAC very limited in this area but as workaround I would suggest:
1) Create a story as a starting point for your users, then use scripting to detect which team they are a member of which can then open the right widget or story that is relevant to the user.
2) Set the catalog as default homescreen and use that catalog to publish stories (not widgets) to teams.
3) Don't use SAC at all but leverage SAP (central) fiori launchpad

Dear Feras,
Thank you for your question! 🙂
Here is what is possible in SAC in terms of customizing the home screen:
Customize Your Home Screen
Video: Customize the Home Screen
Customize the Default Appearance of the Interface
You can customize some of it as mentioned in the documents I shared, but there are some limitations I'm afraid.
Hope this helps!
Happy new year!
Julia

Hi Jef,
I appreciate your recommendations.
About the first point, is there any documentation, a tutorial, or an example of scripting to identify the relevant teams?
This is a great idea, and I'll get to work on it.
Kind regards,
Feras

Hi Julia,
Thank you for your fast answer. It seems like what I am searching for lies in those limitations.
Hoping for any workarounds.
Happy new year!
