Change global variable in SAP MDK

is there a possibilty to change the a global variant in a rule or something? 🙂

Hey Jitenda,
I have one page with an analytic cards collections. When i click one field i move to another "detail page". In the Object Header of the "Detail page" i show some Info´s to this specific value. This is working fine. I set no target and service and therefore it grabs only the selected row.
But below this i want to have a new analytic cards collection with a different service but with the selected value in the $filter section of the query. Therefore i somehow need to save the specific element from the clicked object. I already have a rule which gets me this value but the rule is only working in the header section and not for the analytic cards collection:

export default function GetPicturePath(context) {
const binding = context.getBindingObject().value123.toString(); console.log(binding.value123.toString())
return binding.value123.toString();
}

I would guess that "context" is referencing to the Compound from where i start the rule.
So this is what i want:
Start Page
Analytic Card Collection
- Click one card (e.g Country="USA)" of the collection
--> NavToDetail
Detail Page
Object Header

Analytic Card Collection

- In the Object Header it is showing me some value: Citizens, President, etc.
-In the Analytic card collection i will show the states. Therefore i have another service. I will now use this service and will select only where "County="USA"

My Rule is here only working in the Object HEader but not for the analytic card collection. Thats why i thought i can save the value to a global variable when i run the rule in the Object Header and then use it later in the query filteroptions.
Bill Froelich mentioned ClientData. I will try this and see if this will solve my challenge.

i solved it. I just read all answer from Bill on the Community related to SAP MDK. Bill really explains everything quite easy and good 🙂 I found the correct commands.
