Hi Experts,
for a sales order I want to extend the length of the existing Recurrence in the Invoice Schedule.
If there are no items attached to the Recurrence we are able to do so, but of course in a sales order there are items attached to the Recurrence. The idea then of course was to remove the item from the Recurrence, change the End Date and then attach the items again so that the items will be updated as well.
However, every way we've tried so far gives an error because the system returns that the data is read-only.
Is there any way to actually to do this in the SAP Cloud Application Studio?
Kind regards,
I. van Rijn

Hi I. van Rijn,
I was trying to reproduce the suggested behaviour, but I was able to change the invoice schedule pattern, after removing the pattern from the line items and then reapplying it again.
The only problem is that the application of the pattern creates double entries for already invoiced line items, if you do not adjust the time frame for already created invoices.
But you should be able to Edit the Invoicing Time Frame, remove the item assignment. Now click on OK, so that the open invoice requests for upcoming dates are removed.
Edit the Invoicing Time Frame again and you can adjust the time frame, and reapply the time frame to the line items. Now the remaining open amount is recalculated on the new timeframe, that you provided.
Could you elaborate on your use case and where you receive the error?
Kind Regards,
Arthur
