Change and deploy adaptation project for fiori

I was recently tasked with removing a few buttons from the fiori launchpad form. Below you can see these buttons.

A little later, I discovered this article (Extending an SAP Fiori Application - SAP Help Portal) and followed all the points step by step.

But unfortunately nothing came of it.

I am sure that I am doing something wrong, so I will describe my actions step by step.

1.I created a adaptation project and linked it with hcm.fab.myprofile.

2.I opened manifest.appdescr_variant in SAPUI5 VISUAL EDITOR and set the button property to visible: false

3. After that, I deployed to the SAP system and received a successful message.

4. I got these packages on the sap system

But somehow they are empty

5. I opened the description of the profile settings in the fiori designer launcher and changed the required fields as described in the documentation(Configuring Target Mappings - SAP Help Portal)

6. After opening the profile в Fiori Launchpad, nothing changed and all the buttons remained in their places (

I would be grateful if someone could tell me what my mistake is.
