Hi Community,
I've got a urgent question. I've created a cloud foundry trial account for region Frankfurt (AWS) yesterday and wanted to create db services, as described in some tutorials. But somehow, they are not available in the marketplace. Does anyone know if it's only temporary or is it new? My colleague has an older trial account and still has those services. Can anyone check his Marketplace? Should be 42 services, but I've got only 40.
Best regards,
Paige
Hi Paige - please see this SAP blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2019/07/15/evolution-of-sap-cloud-platform-retirement-of-sap-managed-backing-s...
"As a first step towards this strategic goal, starting July 15th, 2019, we announce the retirement of SAP ‘managed’ open-source backing services offerings – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ, from SAP Cloud Platform pricelists." Source: SAP
I am guessing this is the reason.

tammy.powlas3 is absolutly right. In addition, here's a guide how to link your Cloud Platform account to AWS (other providers will come soon) to create a PostgresDB.
Alternativly, you can also set up your own service broker to access more service from more providers.
