Certified Hardware CPU Emerald Rapids (5th Gen Intel Xeon)

Hello, we are planning to renew hardware on our datacenter and we are planning to virtualize hana inside.

Following this "3372365 - SAP HANA on VMware vSphere 8" but this to be more  specific this https://help.sap.com/docs/SUPPORT_CONTENT/virtualization/3617331559.html we are discovered that only certified CPUs for landscape involving vsphere are the "older" Sapphire Rapids.
As I am wrote this, Emerald Rapids were delivered on "far" 2023. 

I see from link above that the certification for these CPUs in vSpehere environment is planned but they don't provide any deadline or sure timeline on when the certification will be done.

Now on middle of 2024 sounds little bit strange that I *must* buy a previous generation CPUs especially for an investment that involve an entire datacenter.

So my question: anyone have some news about when the Emerald Rapids will be certified?
