CDS Activation Resets Sequences — Causing Go-Live Blocker

Hi Community,

We are facing a critical issue in our on-premise SAP HANA system, and I would appreciate your guidance or any known solutions.

Issue Summary

Whenever we activate CDS artifacts (e.g., .hdbdd / .hdbtable definitions), all related HANA sequences are getting reset.
After activation, the sequence values restart, which forces us to manually run ALTER SEQUENCE statements to restore the correct value.

This behavior is impacting deployments in QA and Production, and is currently a go-live blocker.
