CDN delivered SAPUI5 Fiori Elements applications suddenly stopped working...

Hello,

I have some Fiori Elements applications that I had been serving in a Fiori Launchpad Sandbox.

However, the Fiori Elements applications suddenly stopped working -- with no changes from my end.

When I examined the logs, I found the following error:

"Failed to load 'https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/resources/sap/ui/fl/apply/_internal/flexObjects/Variant.js'.

Indeed, when I tried to load this file in the browser, it resulted in a 404.

Since my setup was based on the CAP Java sample application, I decided to clone it to verify that the issue wasn't somehow related to something I did.

To my surprise, I found that the exact same error occurred. This suggests that the error may be on the CDN side.

Does anyone know anything about this error and what I can do to solve it? I have to present this application to a customer in 4 days and if I can't fix this fast there's going to be big trouble.

Hello,

I just cloned the CAP Java sample application myself and tried to run it out of the box.

My guess is that there is some coding within this Fiori Elements application pointing to the file which was renamed. Can you name the FE tempalte you are using, so I can have a dedicated look?

Thanks for your comment. You were exactly right. I checked and there was an update to the UI5 repository, but when I loaded my app it was asking for the old filename. It seemed like a caching issue, so I cleared the cache and it worked. Thanks a lot! I hadn't realized that my UI5 content from the CDN might be cached like that.
