Cant install CRforVS & How to fix data missing from report after updating VS & Crystal Report?

Hi all,

I have 2 questions

1. How can I install CRforVS_13_0_22 on my pc without installing the VS? after trying to install this , I get an error message that the VS must already installed to install that, but I remember I was able to install this on other pc without installing the VS, and I saw from installed programs , there are VS 2015 isolated, etc. installed(not the actual VS).

PS: If only the CR runtime 13_0_22 is installed , my app wont able to view the report , I am getting this error:

2. I installed VS 2019 Enterprise and the latest CRforVS(v25 I think) on my other pc, but after running my app(which I developed from VS 2015/2017 with CRforVS_13_0_22) and opening the report, datas are missing, but if checking from other pc(with CRforVS_13_0_22) its working okay, Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Hi,

I adjusted the tag to crystal report.

Install the runtime only on your work station where your application is running. the EXE install for CR for VS will not install without VS being there. But it's not required for app to work.
