Getting the error message when trying to enter a package name while 'Generating ABAP Repository objects...'.
Please suggest a solution.

I tried below approach and it resolved the issue.
.1. downgraded the Eclipse to previous version. This can be done in Eclipse->help-->about eclipse IDE-->Installation details-->Installation history --> select the previous version -->click on revert button at the bottom. It will take some time
2. after downgrade, a popup came for me to change the workspace for the eclipse as the newer version is found. If i don't change the workspace, there is a warning that problem occurs or potential data loss. I created a new folder and added this folder as my eclipse workspace.
3. Then i was able to generate ABAP repo objects and provide my package name. it worked fine.
I think the issue is after upgrade/downgrade, we have to change the eclipse workspace to make sure that every configurations works fine in eclipse.
@Partha11 try the same and let me know if it works for you
