I'm working for oil&gas company which is performing both of
Upstream/Downstream processes as their business to implement S/4HANA.
As the one of key requirements, my client want to use JVA/PSA usage for upstream operation as part of IS-OIL.
But I'm wondering if we could use then without any constraints on single S/4HANA environment (same client), even if they've already activated some functionalities for downstream.
Because I heard from someone who has experience to implement IS-OIL as ECC6.0 version that he needed to divide SAP instance for Upstream / Downstream usage due to functional constraints after IS-OIL activation.
If someone can answer my concern based on S/4HANA environment, please help me so that I can deside how we should move forward with the appropriate solutioning of JVA/PSA.
