Can we restore the backup from simplex server to multiplex server

Can we restore the backup in multiplex environment from simplex environment.

If yes, please let us know the process to restore.

Target IQ database is restored as an IQ database same to source IQ database.
This means if you restore an IQ database using an IQ full backup collected from a simplex IQ database, then the target IQ database will be restored as a simplex IQ database same to source IQ database.
if you restore an IQ database using an IQ full backup collected from a multiplex IQ database(coordinator node), then the target IQ database will be restored as a multiplex IQ database(coordinator node) same to source IQ database likewise.

So converting an IQ database between simplex and multiplex can be done after restoring an IQ database on target system.
You may convert a multiplex coordinator node to a simplex IQ database or may convert a simplex IQ database to a multiplex coordinator node.
