Can we integrate external API of Cleartax for EInvoicing and EWay Bill in Public Cloud?

Hi Sap Experts!

In SAP S/4 Hana Public cloud, for Integrating E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill can we call external API Directly without having any middleware (CPI)?

Help me in how we can integrate E-Invoice and E-Way Bill in SAP Public cloud?

Dear Sai,

We have SAP standard solution for same. Please use a certified GSP

If you plan to use Non-certified GSP then customize the standard iflows as per your requirement.

CI is recommended but yes you can use API calls as you described. But for this you have to build your own application entirely.

Hi Sahil, Thanks for your reply, For suppose if we don't have E-Invoice Cockpit, in that case can we develop custom RAP Application with webapi and when user select the entry from application and submit it then CPI Consultant can pull that data of submitted entry, process and keep the response of IRN and other details back in the same application. Is that possible? Thanks

if you are referring to standard sap application for edocument cockpit  then its not possible. But you can store in your custom application and build forms to print that
