Can we do upload and download of excel file in IBP from S4 on premise system without using CPI-DS?

Hi,

As part of the SAP Cloud Platform Integration suite, SAP offers a lightweight integration software which is called SAP Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services a.k.a CPI-DS (Formerly called as HCI-DS)

CPI-DS is a cloud-based data integration tool for batch & scheduled data integration between on-premise applications and the SAP cloud platform. It is inbuild with IBP license agreement.

Without CPI-DS you can able to handle a small amount of data upload to IBP

You can able to upload data from source file (Excel) to IBP using Application Jobs and it is recommended for small-medium data volumes.

For download, you can view the data in planning view and save data into an excel file.

Hi Lingaiah,

I am curious if CPI-DS can even read data from an excel sheet like spreadsheet i.e .xlsx files. I know we can read data from flatfiles but does CPI-DS has an adapter to read data from .xlsx files?
